Which tier is right for your lab?

Both, eventually. Start with whichever fits today.

Start with Accelera if…

You want pathology workflow on top of speech, without the full PRO depth.

  • You already have a speech engine (Dragon, Fluency) and want pathology-specific reporting protocols + AP integration on top
  • You're staffing-constrained and need to start with the minimum effective workflow improvement
  • You want CAP eCP automation, multi-part case management, grossing-bench commands, and delegated workflow — but don't yet need PRO's deeper customization
  • You want a path to upgrade to PRO as the lab grows
Flagship
Go with VoiceOver PRO if…

You want the full pathology reporting platform.

  • You're running a multi-site lab and need single-window reporting + structured data interfacing across every AP system
  • You want role-based reporting protocols that flex across pathologists, PAs, residents, and per-diem users
  • You need advanced scripting / smart behaviors to encode lab-specific business rules into the workflow
  • You want access to the AI feature suite (coming late 2026)
  • You're aiming for the documented 1–2 hours/day per pathologist or PA recovered capacity outcome

Not sure which fits? A 30-minute working session with a pathology-informatics specialist is the fastest way to find out. We’ll walk through your lab’s workflow and recommend the tier that’s right for where you are today.

What's the difference between VoiceOver PRO and Accelera?

VoiceOver PRO is the full pathology reporting platform: structured reporting, field validation at sign-out, advanced CAP automation, digital pathology integrations, and the whole grossing-to-sign-out workflow. Accelera is the entry tier — pathology-aware dictation with editable templates, hands-free grossing, and downtime resilience, without PRO's structured, enforcing layer. Start with Accelera if you want more than generic speech; move up to VoiceOver PRO when you need the full platform.

How is VoiceOver PRO different from generic speech recognition like Dragon or Fluency alone?

Dragon Medical One and Solventum Fluency convert speech to text. VoiceOver PRO and Accelera sit on top of that speech engine and add the pathology reporting workflow — pathology-aware templates, voice-driven navigation, AP/LIS integration, and, in PRO, structured CAP reporting and validation. Speech alone gets words on the screen; the Voicebrook layer builds the report.

Is VoiceOver PRO more accurate than speech alone, and how?

The accuracy that matters here isn't the speech engine. Dragon, Fluency, and the built-in options all turn sound into words well enough, and VoiceOver PRO runs above all of them. What differs is how much of the report is exposed to free-text dictation. In a speech-only workflow the whole report is dictated narrative, so every word carries transcription risk and only the pathologist's reread catches it. In PRO most of the report is structured, protocol-driven fields and synoptic elements, with voice commands that select rather than transcribe and values validated before the case closes. Less of the report is exposed, and what is exposed gets checked. The result is a more accurate report from the same speech.

Do I need to replace my speech engine to use VoiceOver PRO or Accelera?

No. Both run on top of your existing enterprise speech engine (Dragon Medical One or Solventum Fluency). Your IT team keeps the speech contract; Voicebrook makes it pathology-specific. If your speech strategy changes later, the Voicebrook layer moves with it.

Where does SynoptIQ fit in this comparison?

SynoptIQ is the CAP synoptic cancer reporting add-on, not a standalone tier. It attaches to either VoiceOver PRO or Accelera to add CAP eCP protocols, automatic staging and grading, field validation, and HL7 output for cancer registries.

How much time does VoiceOver PRO save compared to speech-alone or transcription?

Labs report recovering roughly 1–2 hours per pathologist or PA per day versus fighting generic speech recognition or waiting on transcription. The gain comes from compressing report structuring, validation, and CAP work into the act of reporting itself. Use the ROI calculator on this site to model the recovered capacity for your lab.

30-minute walkthrough with a pathology-informatics specialist: dictating real cases, with your AP/LIS in the loop. You'll see where your time goes today, and where it comes back once Voicebrook clears the friction.

Why this matters: every report that signs out faster is a patient getting their result sooner.
