Accelerate beyond what speech alone can do. Pathology workflow, on top of your existing speech engine.
Accelera is Voicebrook's hosted, entry-tier pathology reporting solution. It adds a pathology-aware workflow — editable templates, hands-free grossing, customizable voice commands, digital dictation, and downtime resilience — integrated with the speech engine and AP/LIS your lab already runs. A smarter alternative to generic dictation, without the cost or complexity of VoiceOver PRO®'s full reporting automation.
What is Accelera?
Accelera is Voicebrook's hosted, entry-tier pathology reporting solution. It sits above your existing speech engine (Dragon Medical One or Solventum Fluency) and integrates with your AP/LIS (Clinisys CoPathPlus / PowerPath / Orchard, Epic Beaker, Oracle Health/Cerner Millennium PathNet, SCC SoftPath / SoftPathDx, MEDITECH, VA VistA, and 20+ others), and delivers front-end speech dictation, digital dictation with delegated editing, hands-free grossing, customizable voice commands, editable templates, and downtime resilience. It's pathology-aware dictation, a smarter alternative to generic dictation tools, using unstructured, template-based reporting that supports standardization. Structured, enforced CAP eCP synoptic reporting is available by adding SynoptIQ®, and advanced automation and AI live in VoiceOver PRO. Accelera is for labs that want more than basic speech recognition but aren't yet ready for the full PRO platform.
The pathology workflow essentials, on top of speech.
Accelera goes beyond generic dictation tools (Dragon or Fluency used directly) with a pathology-aware workflow: dictation, editable templates, voice commands, grossing, and downtime resilience, hosted and ready without on-prem setup. It’s unstructured and template-based. Structured synoptic reporting, automation, and AI are where the SynoptIQ add-on and VoiceOver PRO take over.
Front-end speech reporting
Real-time dictation straight into your AP/LIS on the speech engine your IT team already runs: Dragon Medical One or Solventum Fluency. Voice, keyboard, and mouse navigation, so pathologists work the way they prefer.
Digital dictation + delegated editing
Delegated Medical Editing, foot-pedal support, and batch dictation for rotating, per-diem, and non-speech users. Transcriptionists shift to quality review instead of being replaced.
Hands-free grossing
Voice-driven gross-bench dictation, cassette counts, and specimen descriptions. Wireless mic and foot-pedal support for water-resistant grossing-bench operation.
Voice commands & customization
AP-system “personality” navigation, user-created voice commands, text-insertion macros, and department-level shared command sets, configured by your onsite administrator.
Editable templates
User-created and shared departmental templates that help standardize reporting. The content is fully editable, so templates support consistency; the structured, enforced version (synoptic protocols with required-field validation) is the SynoptIQ and VoiceOver PRO layer.
Downtime resilience
Offline capture keeps reporting active when the AP/LIS, network, or speech engine is unavailable, with automatic sync on reconnect and recover-your-last-note. A real differentiator versus generic dictation tools.
Hosted, nothing to run on-prem
Delivered as a HITRUST-hosted, centrally managed desktop client with automatic updates. No on-premise infrastructure to stand up, and your reports stay in your own reporting system.
CAP eCP reporting (add-on)
CAP-compliant synoptic cancer reporting (automatic protocol updates, staging and grading, required-field validation) is available as an optional add-on via SynoptIQ, layered on top of Accelera.
See the SynoptIQ pageWhen Accelera fits. When PRO fits.
Both run on your speech engine and your AP/LIS, with Voicebrook’s pathology workflow on top. The difference is structure: Accelera is unstructured and template-based, so it supports standardization; VoiceOver PRO is structured and enforcing, adding automation, structured data, and AI. Start with the tier that fits and upgrade when you’re ready.
The minimum effective toolset.
Front-end and digital dictation, hands-free grossing, voice commands, and editable templates that support standardization, hosted on top of your speech engine and AP/LIS. Add SynoptIQ for CAP synoptic reporting. Clean upgrade path to PRO when you’re ready.
- You need pathology workflow above speech, not the full PRO depth
- Private lab, mid-volume hospital, or pathology group
- Want the essentials at entry pricing
- Plan to grow into PRO as workflow needs deepen
The full pathology reporting platform.
Everything Accelera has — plus per-lab custom-built reporting protocols (designed to your individual reporting standards for non-CAP-checklist cases), single-window reporting, role-based reporting protocols, advanced scripting, structured data interfacing, the AI feature suite, and consistent report creation across every AP system in a multi-site network.
- Running a multi-site lab needing structured data interfacing
- Role-based reporting protocols across pathologists, PAs, residents, per-diem
- Need advanced scripting to encode lab-specific business rules
- Want the 1–2 hour per pathologist or PA per day recovered-capacity outcome
- Want access to the AI feature suite

Five reasons labs start here.
- 1 You want pathology-specific reporting workflow on top of your existing speech engine, without the full PRO depth
- 2 You're staffing-constrained and need the minimum effective workflow improvement to start recovering capacity
- 3 You want hands-free grossing, customizable voice commands, and delegated dictation workflows, but don't yet need PRO's structured reporting and automation
- 4 You want a clear path to upgrade to VoiceOver PRO as the lab grows
- 5 You're a private lab, mid-volume hospital, or pathology group that needs the essentials without enterprise pricing
The Voicebrook foundation, at entry-tier pricing.
Built for the entry tier
Accelera is purpose-designed as the minimum effective toolset for labs not yet ready for VoiceOver PRO's full depth. You get the core pathology workflow on top of speech, without paying for advanced scripting, AI features, or single-window reporting until you need them.
Same speech engine. Same AP/LIS.
Accelera runs on top of whatever speech engine your IT team picked (Dragon Medical One or Solventum Fluency). It integrates with whatever AP/LIS your lab runs. No re-platforming. No retraining. Speech and AP investments preserved.
Clear upgrade path to VoiceOver PRO
When the lab needs deeper per-lab custom-built reporting protocols, advanced scripting, single-window reporting, structured data interfacing, or the AI feature suite, Accelera upgrades cleanly to VoiceOver PRO. Your templates and integrations carry over. Same Voicebrook implementation team.
What is Accelera?
Accelera is Voicebrook's entry-tier pathology reporting product: pathology-aware dictation on top of your enterprise speech engine. It gives labs the core reporting workflow — front-end speech and digital dictation with delegated editing, editable templates, voice commands, hands-free grossing, and downtime resilience — delivered hosted and centrally managed. Accelera is positioned as a smarter alternative to generic dictation, not a replacement for VoiceOver PRO.
How is Accelera different from VoiceOver PRO?
Accelera is the feature-reduced entry tier; VoiceOver PRO is the full platform. Accelera covers pathology-aware dictation with editable templates that support standardization. VoiceOver PRO adds the structured, enforcing layer: field validation at sign-out, advanced CAP automation, digital pathology integrations, and deeper AP/LIS orchestration. Labs typically start on Accelera and upgrade to PRO as their needs grow.
Does Accelera do CAP synoptic cancer reporting?
CAP synoptic cancer reporting is the SynoptIQ add-on, which attaches to Accelera or VoiceOver PRO. Accelera on its own is unstructured, template-based dictation; add SynoptIQ when you need CAP eCP protocols, automatic staging and grading, field validation, and HL7 output for cancer registries.
Which speech engines does Accelera work with?
Accelera runs on top of enterprise speech recognition — Nuance Dragon Medical One and Solventum (3M) Fluency. Your IT team picks the engine; Accelera makes it pathology-aware.
Is Accelera hosted or on-premises?
Accelera is delivered hosted and centrally managed — HITRUST-hosted, with automatic updates and no on-premises infrastructure to stand up.
Can we move from Accelera to VoiceOver PRO later?
Yes. Accelera shares the same pathology-aware foundation as VoiceOver PRO, so it's a clear upgrade path. Labs commonly start on Accelera and move up to PRO when they need structured reporting, advanced CAP automation, digital pathology integration, or the full grossing-to-sign-out workflow.
See the hours come back.
30-minute walkthrough with a pathology-informatics specialist: dictating real cases, with your AP/LIS in the loop. You'll see where your time goes today, and where it comes back once Voicebrook clears the friction.
Why this matters: every report that signs out faster is a patient getting their result sooner.
