The challenge
Mt. Nittany Medical Center’s pathology department was growing, and its transcription-based process could not keep pace. Batch processing meant pathologists waited on transcriptionists before a case could move, creating bottlenecks and slowing turnaround.
What changed
The department went live with VoiceOver PRO® in the fall of 2020, replacing batch transcription with case-by-case, random-access reporting. Pathologists dictate structured reports and sign out on their own schedule.
